หากเราดูที่กราฟ 4 ชั่วโมงของอินสตรูเมนต์ทองคำ จะเห็นรูปแบบ Bearish 123 ซึ่งตามมาด้วย Bearish Ross Hook (RH) หลายครั้งและยังได้รับการยืนยันจากการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาทองคำที่เคลื่อนที่ต่ำกว่า WMA (30 Shift 2) ซึ่งมีแนวโน้มเป็นขาลงและยังได้รับการยืนยันจากการเกิด Negative Divergence ระหว่างการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาทองคำและตัวบ่งชี้ Stochastic Oscillator ดังนั้นในอนาคตอันใกล้ทองคำมีแนวโน้มที่จะอ่อนตัวต่อไปซึ่งระดับ 2998.92 จะถูกทดสอบให้ถูกบุกและปิดต่ำกว่าระดับนั้น หากสำเร็จแล้วทองคำจะทดสอบเป้าหมายถัดไปที่ 2985.44 และหากความผันผวนและโมเมนตัมของการอ่อนตัวมีความรุนแรงพอ ก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่ทองคำจะอ่อนตัวต่อไปสู่ระดับ 2956.13 อย่างไรก็ตามการคาดการณ์สถานการณ์การอ่อนตัวนี้จะไม่ถูกต้องและยกเลิกโดยอัตโนมัติหากในระหว่างทางการอ่อนตัว เกิดการแข็งค่าขึ้นอย่างกะทันหันจนกระทั่งบุกและปิดเหนือระดับ 3047.00
